Every year Amazon comes with new Alexa enabled devices. Today, the company has announced a bunch of new products. Amazon has launched Echo Frames, a smart glass powered by Alexa. Unlike Google Glass, the Echo Frames doesn’t feature a display or a camera. However, it does come with a microphone that talks to you, deliver notifications and will also let you create reminders and much more. Amazon has also launched a premium Alexa enabled ring called Echo Loop.

Echo Frames

Amazon Echo Frames is aimed at keeping you abreast with all the notification. Furthermore, you can also use glasses for other Alexa related tasks. Echo Loop is yet another interesting Echo device by Amazon. The Echo Loop literally puts all the information on your fingertips. As far as construction is concerned, the Echo Loop is made up of titanium ring and a small button at the bottom. You will be able to invoke Alexa and give voice commands by tapping on the button. The Echo Loop relays the notifications in the form of feedback via a haptic engine. Echo Loop needs to be connected to your phone via Bluetooth. The Echo Loop is priced at $129.99 and is available on an invite-only basis.

Our Take

Amazon is working on its strategy to make Alexa omnipresent. They started out with Echo smart speakers and slowly expanded to other products. So far the strategy seems to have worked as the company has sold 100 Million Alexa devices so far. Most importantly Amazon also caters to the entry-level buyer with products like Amazon Echo Dot.
