Apple September 9 event

While it was reported that Apple would unveil the iPhone 6 on September 9, it wasn’t quite official. Now Apple has confirmed the event.

Apple has just sent out media invites for the September 9 event slated to announce the iPhone 6. The invite is pretty straightforward, with the Apple logo, and words that read “Wish we could say more.” The event should be used to unveil the iPhone 6, and rumored to include the iWatch as well.

The event will take place at 10:00 am Pacific Time at the Flint Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of De Anza College in Cupertino.

While there has been much discussion regarding the iWatch, Apple’s wearable, and a release date, it was reported on August 27 that the Cupertino-based company will unveil the device alongside the iPhone 6 during the September 9 event.

iPhone 6 is expected to feature an all-new ultra thin design with narrower bezels and rounded edges. It is also expected to include Apple’s new A8 chip, more durable Touch ID fingerprint sensor, and an improved 8-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization.
