Apple has been busy opening new stores in other parts of the world recently, and now the company is opening the doors at two new locations in the United States soon.
As confirmed by MacRumors, a pair of new Apple Stores are opening in the United States in the third week of October. The first, opening October 16, will be opening its doors at 10:00am local time in Sarasota, Florida. The second will be opening at 10:00am local time on October 18 in Manchester, New Hampshire.
The Sarasota location is opening within the new University Town Center mall, which is a brand new $315 million shopping center. Instead of opening up on Saturday, October 18, this site will be opening earlier in the week due to the grand opening of the shopping center as a whole on that particular date. With the store in Sarasota opening, this marks Apple’s 17th location in Florida.
To compare, the Manchester Apple Store marks the third retail site for Apple within New Hampshire. It will be opening up in the Mall of New Hampshire.
The Sarasota location is opening up on the same day that Apple is holding a special media event, where they will likely announce new iPads, Retina iMacs and launch OS X Yosemite.[via MacRumors]
