During the busy September 9 media event at the Flint Center in Cupertino, California, Apple announced plenty of new hardware, features, and everything else in between. When it comes to the Watch, though, there’s a lot packed in. Including Siri.

While it may have been a foregone conclusion for most people, considering the wearable’s focus on being an extension of the smartphone, Apple has confirmed that Siri will indeed be baked right into the Watch out of the box. That means users will get the same search results they’d get on their phone using the digital personal assistant. Siri is voice-activated, just like on the iPhone.

The Watch will launch in early 2015, and it will start at $349. With it, third-party developers will be able to get their apps on the watch, including Facebook and others. After Apple officially introduced the device, they also outlined its features, its customization options, and provided an in-depth look at how the wearable will help owners stay healthy.
