It’s been a while since Pangu released their new jailbreak tool for iOS 9.3.3. Most Cydia developers have already updated their tweaks for the firmware, which means that there’s now a vast collection of tweaks and hacks that you can download and enjoy on your jailbroken iOS 9.3.3 device.

Touch ID was one of the flagship features of iPhone 5s that received a lot of praise from Apple users. This also meant that it was an opportunity for Cydia developers to bring their creativity to the table by developing tweaks that improve the way it works.

With a bunch of Touch ID tweaks now available in Cydia, we present to you a comprehensive list of the best iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak tweaks and hacks for Touch ID that you should definitely consider trying.

AlwaysTouch

The main purpose of Touch ID is to keep your device more secure by allowing access only when an authenticated fingerprint is used. It can only be used when you have enabled passcode protection on your device.

AlwaysTouch is a jailbreak tweak that allows you to unlock your device with Touch ID even when there’s no passcode set. Rather than pressing the Home button and swiping the Lock screen to unlock your device, you can simply place your finger on Touch ID and go to the Home screen.

BioLockdown

This list will not be complete without mentioning the popular BioLockdown tweak by Ryan Petrich. With this tweak, you can use Touch ID to prevent unauthorized access to specific apps, Settings as well as Control Center toggles. This means getting rid of the traditional passcode-protection method in favor of Touch ID.

The tons of options that BioLockdown provides is one of its main selling points when compared to its main rival, BioProtect.

BioProtect

BioProtect1

BioProtect is very similar to BioLockdown, but comes with a couple of additional features. Along with protecting access to specific apps, settings and toggles, BioProtect also allows you to lock folders, Power Down screen as well as SIM unlock.

Additionally, it lets you use passcode as an alternative protection method, which means that this tweak will work even with devices that don’t have Touch ID.

The best feature of BioProtect is the subtle animation that is displayed when you place your finger on Touch ID for authentication.

LockGlyph

If you’re a fan of the Apple Pay animation/sound then you can get that every time you unlock your device with LockGlyph. The tweak adds a fingerprint glyph to the Lock screen, which plays Apple Pay’s animation as soon as you use Touch ID to unlock your device.

VirtualHome

VirtualHome is by far one of my favorite jailbreak tweaks for Touch ID. It gives your Home button a break by allowing you to use Touch ID in its place. You can tap on Touch ID to wake up your device, go to the Home screen, launch App Switcher and much more.

It comes with four gestures, each can assigned to perform a specific action when invoked. It supports gestures such as single tap, double tap, short press as well as single tap and hold.

These are some of the best jailbreak tweaks and apps for Touch ID that support iOS 9.3.3. If there’s any other tweak that we missed from the list, then let us know in the comments below.
