Couria: Jailbreak Tweak adds Quick Reply and Quick Compose to Messages app and Whatsapp

Couria is a new jailbreak tweak that brings the popular quickly reply and quick compose feature to Messages app.

After installing the tweak, you will be able to quickly reply to a new message without leaving the app you’re currently using by tapping on the banner notification for the message.

It also allows you to compose a message from anywhere in iOS without the need to launch the Messages app by setting an action in the Activator app.

The tweak aims to add quickly reply/compose feature to other popular apps as Whatsapp etc. by allowing users to install Couria extensions. You can also apply themes to the quick reply/compose window, though at the moment there are only two options.

There is currently an extension for the Whatsapp app called Whatsapp for Couria that brings the quick reply/compose feature to the popular messaging app, but it is quite buggy and crashes the Whatsapp on my iPhone 5s. We can expect similar extension for messages apps like Facebook Messenger etc. in the future.

You can also set a passcode, so the feature is accessible only when you enter the passcode, which is useful if you’ve concerns about using it from the Lock screen.

Check out the video walkthrough of the jailbreak tweak in action:

Couria and the Whatsapp extension is available for free on Cydia. The tweak is still in beta, so expect it to be a little buggy. It didn’t work on my iPhone 5s.

As always, let us know how it goes in the comments.
