Pangu Jailbreak iOS 9.2 - iOS 9.3.3

Pangu has just released the English version of iOS 9.2 – iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The tool supports 64-bit devices and comes just days after the Chinese version of the jailbreak was made available to users.

The Chinese jailbreak tool requires users to use the Windows-based 25PP software to install the jailbreak app onto their devices. However, the English version depends on Saurik’s ‘Cydia Impactor’ tool, which works on Windows, Mac and Linux computers. This tool is used to sign the .iPA file of Pangu jailbreak so that it can be installed and executed on iOS devices.

The jailbreak will only work for 64-bit devices including:

  • iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, iPhone SE
  • iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad mini 4, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2, iPad Pro
  • iPod Touch 6G

The Pangu jailbreak is semi-tethered, which means that you’ll have to use the PP/Pangu jailbreak app on your device to re-jailbreak it everytime it reboots. Keep in mind that a re-jailbreak is not required if your device resprings.

Just like previously, you’ll have to provide your Apple ID so that a free certificate will be created to sign the jailbreak .iPA file to be installed onto your device. The certificate will expire in 7 days (unless you have enrolled in Apple’s Developer Program), afterwhich you have to install the Pangu jailbreak app again onto your device, if you want to use it.

Check out our step-by-step guide on how to jailbreak iOS 9.3.3 using English version of Pangu.

If you have already jailbroken your iOS 9.3.3 device then you don’t need to jailbreak it again using the English version. Make sure to check out our list of compatible tweaks:
