Google Maps, one of the more popular maps replacement apps available in the App Store, has received an update that makes it a bit more worthwhile to use.
Google Maps for iOS has been updated to version 4.4.0. The app measures in at 26.9MB, and it’s still a free download. With this latest update, it receives not only faster voice-based search results, as well as transit line colors right on the map when getting transit directions. Users can also filter searchers for Zagat-rated restaurants in areas where that’s supported.
Also, when a user taps on an empty spot on the map, Google Maps will load a full-screen map.
The update also includes the bug fixes that come along with these types of updates. It’s available now to download through the source link below.
