Earlier this week, Apple surprised everyone by releasing the tenth beta of iOS 12. The company had switched to a weekly release cycle but this week, it dropped two betas of the OS.
iOS 12 beta 10 was expected to be released next week but for some reason, Apple ended up releasing it this week. Given that beta 10 of iOS 12 comes just a couple of days after beta 9, it does not contain any major changes or improvements. If anything, its likely that Apple got around to releasing iOS 12 beta 10 so soon due to some major underlying bug that it might have discovered in the previous beta.
As the video shows, iOS 12 beta 10 does not bring anything new to the table. There’s a small improvement in Geekbench benchmark scores but they can be regarded well within the margin of error.
A number of iOS 12 beta testers have complained about getting an error about ‘Unable to Verify Update,’ while others have complained about the beta expiring on their device. If you are in the same boat as others, you should try restarting your iPhone or iPad in question to see if that solves the question.
Apple will possibly release another iOS 12 beta next week ahead of the final release of iOS 12 in the first half of September.
