iPhone 6 speaker assembly leak

As is par for the course, the pieces continue to leak out ahead of the official iPhone 6 announcement. Thanks to a Chinese repair firm, we now have an alleged look at what’s believed to be the iPhone 6 speaker assembly.

According to a report published by AppleInsider, the new image showcases the changes made to the loudspeaker assembly within the iPhone 6, when compared to the iPhone 5s. There are some obvious changes, but unfortunately it’s hard to get a real grasp of the size for the new part, even if it does look relatively similar in that context to the iPhone 5s’ design.

This part, and many others, are being sold by a parts wholesaler based in China, called Elekworld. They are located in the Huaqiangbei electronics district, which is in Shenzhen. It is located near one of Foxconn’s main manufacturing facilities.

iPhone 6 vibration motor leak

Along with the speaker assembly, more images were surfaced of the rumored larger power adapter, including a look at the European variant. An alleged image of the vibration motor for the iPhone 6 was also tossed in for good measure.

At this point, we’ve seen the iPhone 6 disassembled and pictured in several different ways, including the logic board, the Power and mute buttons and more. It’s all generally routine leading up to an official announcement of Apple’s yearly flagship release, so while none of the pieces can be directly verified at this point, it’s not unlikely that they are indeed individual pieces to the bigger iPhone 6 puzzle.

Apple is still believed to be announcing the new iPhones on September 9.
