There are quite a few concepts and renderings of the iPhone 6 out there now, and many of them take into account rumors of a round, and not pill-shaped, True Tone flash. A new report is corroborating those early rumors yet again.
The new images were posted by the China-based wholesale retailer Elekworld, which published photos of the alleged iPhone 6’s speaker assembly on August 26. Now, new photos have been published that are, according to the report published by AppleInsider, of the new, rounded True Tone flash module. Moreover, the new images also indicate that these modules are for not only the 4.7-inch iPhone 6, but also the 5.5-inch variant as well.
These pieces do look familiar to the previously rumored photos of the round flash module, so it would seem that, indeed, Apple is gearing up to change the design of their True Tone flash. The “cool” and “warm” tints were introduced with the iPhone 5s in 2013.
Do you like the new design?[via AppleInsider]
