Reliable leaker @CoinX has posted a cryptic tweet hinting at an upcoming refresh of the iMac and Mac mini. The leaker has a very reliable track record when it comes to Apple leaks which he has revealed using cryptic tweets in the past.

Apple had last updated its iMac lineup in March last year with Intel’s Coffee Lake processors and Radeon Pro GPUs. It is possible that the company will once again update the lineup with faster Radeon GPU and a new design that will see a reduction in the bezels surrounding the display. The company could possibly also switch to Mini-LED display on the iMac which would be in line with what reputed and reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claimed recently.

The Mac mini received its “biggest update ever” in October 2018. Apple could refresh the  Mac mini with faster Intel CPUs and additional storage options. Other aspects of the machine are unlikely to change.

In another tweet, the leaker pointed to the upcoming iPad Pro lineup from Apple featuring a new camera setup.

This is something that we have heard in previous rumors as well. The upcoming iPad Pro refresh will pack a squarish camera hump at the rear like the iPhone 11 Pro series. The camera setup will presumably be the same as the iPhone 11 lineup, though Apple could replace the telephoto sensor with a depth sensor for AR purposes.

It is possible that Apple could drop the new iPad Pro along with the Mac mini and iMac refresh later this month via a press release. The company is unlikely to hold a press event due to the coronavirus outbreak.
