Low Power Mode can add up to 3 extra hours of battery life for your iOS 9 device. That’s a huge advantage for people who may find their device running low on juice. When your device is at 20 or 10 percent, your device will bring up the option for Low Power mode automatically. You can also go to Settings -> Battery -> Low Power mode, and enable it that way.
But, with such a useful feature built into these devices, why not make it easier to enable or disable Low Power mode. With the classic jailbreak tweak CCSettings users can enable Low Power Mode in a single tap, whenever you want.
CCSettings is a super useful tweak that allows users to configure different options in Control Center. By default, iOS 9 gives you quick access to toggles such as AirPlane mode, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Do Not Disturb and Screen Orientation Lock in the Control Center. With CCSettings, you have the option to customize these options based on your preference. It has been recently updated to support iOS 9, which also includes the option to add the toggle for Low Power mode to Control Center.
How to quickly enable or disable Low Power mode in iOS 9
If you’re new to CCSettings, then follow these simple steps to add the toggle for Low Power mode to Control Center.
Step 1.
Download and install CCSettings for iOS 8/9 from Cydia for free. After installation, you will be prompted to Respring your device.
Step 2.
Once your device has restarted, you will need to go into the Settings app and configure your CCSettings preferences. All you’ll need to do for this is move Low Power Mode within the top five, in the “Include” section. This way, when you pull up the Control Center, you will always see the Low Power Mode icon. Just use the horizontal lines, located on the right to move apps into any order.
Step 3.
Once you have moved Low Power Mode to its proper location, you can bring up the Control Center to find the Lower Power Mode icon tucked neatly at the top. Simply tap on the icon to turn it ON, and you will see the app icon turn white and the battery icon in the top right turn to yellow.
That’s it folks. Using CCSettings you can cut down on the number of steps and time it takes to enable Low Power Mode. More importantly you don’t have to leave what you’re doing to enable it. Since it is in the Control Center, you can enable or disable it from anywhere in iOS.
