The beta version of iCleaner Pro, one of the most popular jailbreak tweaks has been released for iOS 11 for jailbreakers who have jailbroken their iOS device using Electra iOS 11 jailbreak.
iCleaner Pro is one of the first real iOS system cleaner and optimizer, which allows you to remove unnecessary files from your iOS device.
Ivano Bilenchi, developer of iCleaner Pro, has released the beta version of iCleaner Pro in his beta repo. If you want to give it a shot then, you should add the beta repo: https://ib-soft.net/cydia/beta to Cydia to install the iOS 11 compatible version of iCleaner Pro.
iCleaner Pro is like the CleanMyMac for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. It removes unnecessary files like unused languages, keyboards, voice control languages etc. and lots more to free up precious storage space on your iOS device. It can come very handy if you’ve very less storage space on your device.
Ivano has also answered some frequently asked questions about iCleaner Pro for iOS 11 on Twitter:
Q: I cannot install iCleaner Pro due to issues with apt dependencies. How comes?
A: You’re likely trying to install iCleaner Pro version 7.6.4 from my stable repo. Please add my beta repo (https://ib-soft.net/cydia/beta ) and download version 7.7.0~beta1.
Q: But, but, I heard installing apt breaks Cydia.
A: It won’t, since it will download the version hosted on CoolStar’s repository.
Q: I cannot install iCleaner Pro due to (*insert random Cydia error here*).
A: Most errors I’ve seen involve broken install scripts from other packages, which I cannot fix, or errors that can be fixed by simply reloading your sources.
Q: Will iCleaner Pro delete my APFS snapshot?
A: Nope, it won’t.
Ivano has also been working on adding support for iPhone X and has shared a few screenshots.
Let us know how it goes in the comments.
