Jailbreaking your iPhone opens the door to endless customizations which is quite exciting. Users who jailbreak their iOS devices often end up installing a bunch of jailbreak tweaks to customize their device and add new features to it.
While jailbreaking is fun, it can also slow down your iPhone and impact its performance when you end up installing a lot of tweaks that are unstable or conflict with one another. You can easily solve this problem by removing the tweaks that are buggy or used less frequently. Although you could remove these tweaks individually from Cydia, it will take a lot of time if there are many packages to uninstall.
Luckily, Cydia comes with a feature that allows you to uninstall multiple jailbreak tweaks and apps at once. This is a great time saver when you want to remove a bunch of tweaks from your iPhone. The uninstallation process usually takes some times and requires a respring so if you were to remove tweaks individually, then you’d end up wasting a lot of your time. Therefore, you’re better off uninstalling tweaks in batch.
Not many users know that this feature exists, especially those who are new to the world of jailbreaking. In this guide, we will show you how to easily remove multiple jailbreak tweaks at once using Cydia.
How to Remove Multiple Jailbreak Tweaks from Your iPhone at Once
Step 1: Open Cydia.
Step 2: To view all your installed tweaks, go to the Installed tab. You can sort the tweaks by the date they have been installed by tapping on the Recent tab.
Step 3: Find and tap on a tweak that you want to remove.
Step 4: Tap on the Modify button in the top right corner, then press Remove.
Step 5: On the confirmation page, tap on the Continue Queuing button instead of Confirm. This will queue the package for removal rather than uninstalling it right away.
Step 6: Repeat the steps above until you’ve queued all the tweaks that you want to delete.
Step 7: Go back to the Installed tab, then tap on the Queue button in the top right corner. A list is displayed containing the tweaks and packages that you’ve queued for removal.
Step 8: Tap on the Confirm button in the top right corner to remove all the queued tweaks at once.
Once all the packages have been uninstalled, you’ll be asked to respring or reboot your device.
This is how you can remove multiple jailbreak tweaks and apps in batch using Cydia without having to delete them individually. This feature saves a lot of time and allows you to easily remove faulty and unstable tweaks in bulk.
If you wish to install multiple tweaks at once, the process is the same as above. Simply add them to the queue list, and once you’re done, proceed with installing them in bulk. Just make sure that the tweaks you’re installing do no conflict with one another otherwise, it may cause your device to crash and enter safe mode.
