We’ve an update for Auxo fans who have been eagerly waiting for the jailbreak tweak to be released for the iPad.
Back in April, A3tweaks, developers of Auxo – the awesome replacement for the iOS app switcher and one of the most popular jailbreak tweaks for the iPhone had announced that Auxo for iPad would be released in May. Unfortunately, you will have to wait a little longer.
They’ve just updated their website to announce that Auxo for iPad will be released on June 6th. They’ve also given us a sneak peak of what it will look like on the iPad:
Auxo replaces the app icons in the app switcher with a card-like screenshot of the current state of the app. The app cards makes it easier to identify the app you want to launch from the app switcher.
It allows you to remove apps from the app switcher by swiping down on the app and kill multiple apps by using multiple fingers.
The developers have also re-imagined the music playback controls page in the app switcher with improved music playback controls, a full-sized album artwork and more details about the song that’s now playing.
It also gives you quick access to frequently used Settings toggles like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, orientation lock, Airplane mode etc.
Auxo is one of my favorites tweaks on the iPhone, so I can’t wait to check out Auxo on the iPad. As always, we’ll let you know as soon as it is available on Cydia, so don’t forget to join our Facebook Fan page or follow us on Twitter or add us on Google+ or subscribe to our RSS feed.
