It can be quite annoying at times when you have a bunch of pending notification in the Notification Center and you have to remove each batch individually. This is why iOS developer Merlin has released a jailbreak tweak known as Notification Killer to save your precious time.

With the tweak installed, you can quickly clear all the pending notification in the Notification Center in just a matter of seconds. All you have to do is to swipe down from the top of the screen to launch Notification Center and long hold on either the ‘Notifications’ or the ‘Today’ tab and release.

A pop-up will appear confirming whether you want to continue. After pressing the Ok button, all the notifications will be removed right away. Yes, it’s this easy so you no longer need to go over each notification to remove them individually.

The tweak does come with a few configurations in the Settings app, where you can enable or disable Notification Killer via the kill switch toggle, disable clearing of icon badges as well as turn off confirmation message so that the notifications get cleared right away without requiring you to first confirm it.

Now, the most interesting option you’ll find in the pane is White List. As you might have guessed, white listing allows you to choose the applications whose notifications you don’t want to get cleared. You can simply toggle on the apps you want to white list.

Notification Killer will definitely come in handy especially to those whose Notification Center is filled with lots of pending notification.

Notification Killer is worth the try and you can download it from Cydia’s BigBoss repository for free.
