Kodi is an open source media player software, formerly known as XBMC, which allows you to view almost all types of videos as well as play any music or other types of digital media files from local, network storage media or the internet. The good thing about Kodi is that it supports multiple operating systems including iOS.

Step 1: Jailbreak your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, if you haven’t already. If you need help then check our how to guide, links for which you will find on this page:

Step 2: Launch Cydia
Step 3: Tap on Sources in the Tab Bar
Step 4: Tap Edit -> Add
Step 5: Type in the following URL into text field: http://mirrors.kodi.tv/apt/ios/ and press Add Source
Step 6: Cydia will now start to download the packages from the source. Once done, press the Return to Cydia button
Step 7: In the sources tab, tap on ‘team Kodi’ source
Step 8: Now go to Multimedia and press Kodi-iOS -> Install. If you can’t find Multimedia, simply press the Edit button and make sure it is toggled on
Step 9: All you have to do now is to wait for Kodi to be installed on your device. Once it’s done, press the Return to Cydia button
Go back to your Home screen and you should now see the Kodi app icon. Launching it will display the app’s interface where you can play around with the stuffs that the app offers as well as configure its settings such as change the skin of the app to ‘Confluence’ which adds a horizontal scrollable menu.
