We all have been waiting for Apple to unveil its new low-cost iPhone, but the company had to postpone its initial launch plans due to the COVID-19 situation. However, it looks like the company doesn’t want to wait any longer as it is being reported that Apple might launch the new phone as soon as tomorrow.

There has been much debate regarding the possible name of the upcoming low-cost iPhone. Some reports stated that it would be called the iPhone SE 2, while others claimed that Apple would name it the iPhone 9. However, according to a new report from 9To5Mac, the new smartphone will simply be launched as the Apple iPhone SE. If we are to believe the story, Apple will also reference it as the 2020 hardware version.

It is also being reported that Apple will launch the iPhone SE in three storage variants: 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. For the first time in years, it appears that the Cupertino-based tech giant is launching a new smartphone in all the logical storage variants. In terms of colors, the iPhone SE would be allegedly launched in three colors: Black, PRODUCT (Red), and White.

The iPhone SE 2020 will reportedly be launched alongside five official cases. Apple will launch Black Silicone, White Silicone, Red Leather, Black Leather, and Midnight Blue Leather versions of its official cases for the new iPhone SE. The upcoming low-cost iPhone is expected to be priced at $399 for the 64GB variant. 9To5Mac claims that Apple could start taking pre-orders for the new iPhone as soon as tomorrow.

According to previous leaks and reports, the iPhone SE 2020 will feature a 4.7-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution, Touch ID fingerprint reader, Apple A13 Bionic processor, 3GB RAM, 64GB/128GB/256GB storage, an improved 12MP rear-facing camera, and a 10MP or 12MP front-facing camera. The phone is also expected to feature NFC for Apple Pay and wireless charging.
