Earlier today, Cydia Developer George @spookyninja had teased his upcoming jailbreak tweak, which he claimed would bring 3D Touch Quick Actions, which is exclusively available on iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, to older devices.
George has just released his jailbreak tweak called Forcy, which brings 3D Touch Quick Actions to jailbroken iOS devices on iOS 9.
Instead of pressing firmly on the app icons, you can access iPhone 6s-like 3D Touch Quick Actions by swiping up on the app icons on the Home screen.
The user interface as you can see looks exactly like the one available on the newer iPhones. It brings all the Home screen Quick Actions that are available in iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. So you can swipe up on Camera, Messages, Notes, Contacts, Clock etc.
Here’s a gallery of the Quick Actionsthat are available for Stock apps on iPhone 6 Plus thanks to Forcy:
It doesn’t offer Quick Actions for Maps and Photos yet. It also doesn’t offer the contextual dynamic Quick Actions that are available on iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. These actions are only available on the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus if the app was recently used or even briefly opened before you use 3D touch. For example, if I was just texting my friend Jason and I can firmly press the Messages app on my Home screen, the option to message Jason will appear in the Quick action menu.
It also won’t be available for third-party apps that are adding support for 3D Touch.

Despite these limitations, I think it is great to be able to access Home screen Quick Actions with the swipe up gestures. In some ways, I think it is better than 3D Touch, and you also don’t have to worry about putting the icons in wiggle mode.
The best part is, Forcy is available for free on Cydia via the BigBoss repo.
Let me know how it goes.
