The Phone app in iOS comes with a Favorites tab where you can add your frequently contacted people so that you can look them up more quickly rather than going through the entire contacts list. QuickDial Pro is a jailbreak tweak that provides a more simpler method of contacting your favorite people.

The tweak adds a speed dial functionality to the stock Phone app allowing you to assign your favorite contacts to the dial keys. When you 3D Touch or tap and hold on a key assigned to a specific contact, a menu is displayed for calling, messaging, or placing a FaceTime call with that particular contact.

The good thing about this tweak is that it supports both 3D Touch and non-3D Touch devices. If you don’t own a 3D Touch device, then you can long press on the dial keys to view the shortcut menu.

Once you install the tweak, you can get started by heading to its preferences pane in Settings where you can set the contact number for each of the dial keys. Since there are a maximum of ten dial keys available, you cannot add more than ten contacts.

After you assign your favorite contacts to the dial keys, you can start speed dialing them right away from the Phone app without having to perform a respring.

A Lite version of this tweak is also available, called QuickDial Lite, which carries fewer features and is available for free in Cydia. In the Lite version, when you 3D Touch or tap and hold on a dial key, the assigned contact will be called right away, whereas in the Pro version, a shortcut menu is displayed for calling, FaceTiming, or messaging that contact.

If you wish to get the features of the Pro version then you can grab QuickDial Pro from Cydia for $0.99. Let us know what you think about it once you give it a try.
