The About section in iOS displays a summary of your iOS device such as the total and available capacity, firmware version, number of songs and videos and much more. However, it lacks information about the device hardware. This is why a new iOS 9 jailbreak tweak known as HarwareSpecs recently debuted on Cydia to fill in the gap.

The tweak displays the specification of your iPhone’s hardware including the processor model, architecture, number of CPUs, physical memory and other details understood by a tech-savvy person.

These details can be accessed from Settings thanks to the new jailbreak tweak. Once the tweak has been installed, head to the General section of Settings and you’ll find a new section labelled ‘Hardware Specs’ right below About. This is where you can view all the hardware specifications of your device.

While this tweak might not appeal to a normal user, it is useful if you are curious to find out additional information about your iPhone’s hardware given that you understand some of the technical jargons used within the pane.

That is all the tweak has to offer and if you are interested to check it out, it is available as a free package on Cydia’s BigBoss repo.
