Just as easy as it sounds to open multiple tabs in Safari, it is an onerous task if you want to close all of them. This is where a new iOS 9 jailbreak tweak known as Safari Close All Tabs comes in to save your day.

The tweak allows you to close all tabs at once in Safari with just the tap of a button. When you are switching tabs, you will notice that there’s a new x button located at the bottom that allows you to close all tabs at once when pressed. You’ll receive a confirmation message before all the tabs are closed.

You can whitelist tabs that you don’t want to be closed. To do this, tap on the tab icon in the bottom right corner of Safari to open the tab switcher interface, and simply tap and hold on it with two fingers to whitelist the tab. You will notice a lock button added to the top left corner of the tab when it is whitelisted. These tabs will remain open even, after all, the tabs have been closed.

That is all the tweak has to offer. It doesn’t come with any additional configuration so once you’ve installed it, you’re good to go. It’s a very useful tweak that makes it easy to quickly close multiple tabs at once in Safari.

Safari Close All Tabs is available as a free package on Cydia’s BigBoss repo and supports all iOS 9 devices. Sound off in the comments section below with your opinion on the new tweak.
