The iPhone 8 is allegedly going to feature a 5.8-inch OLED display, but, despite featuring a bigger display than the iPhone 7 Plus, it will have a smaller footprint.

We have seen that in some form or another in a variety of leaks over the last several months, but, most recently, we saw what was allegedly a mold of the iPhone 8, alongside molds for the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus, that put a very clear visual on what that size difference will look like. And now we have a case of the iPhone 8, which allegedly shows us the same size comparisons next to an iPhone 7 and an iPhone 7 Plus.

The video, which shows the case, was published by Mac Otakara, and the publication says the case for the iPhone 8 was first listed on the online seller website, Alibaba. Of course, this is likely a case that’s built around previously leaked schematics, or even CAD drawings, and not likely a case that’s designed off the final, Apple-approved design that will see the light of day later this year.

However, if those schematics are close enough, than this case ticks all the boxes: Smaller footprint than the iPhone 7 Plus, a vertical dual camera setup on the back, and we can see that the Power button along the right edge of the device has been moved down, too, which should help users not interfere with the camera.

The report also indicates that the case is slightly thicker than the iPhone 7, which, again, is what we’ve heard in the past. It’s also worth noting that this case, while, again, not official, does not have a cutout for any rear-mounted Touch ID.

So, if this is the real size of the iPhone 8, are you happy with the results?
