coolstar and the Electra team have released Electra Jailbreak v1.0.3 to add support for iOS 11.4 beta as Apple is still signing the iOS 11.4 beta 3, beta 2 and beta 1 for iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
It means that if you accidentally upgraded to iOS 11.4 or iOS 11.4.1 then you can still downgrade to iOS 11.4 beta and use Electra Jailbreak to jailbreak yourfor iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Unfortunately, Apple seems to have stopped signing iOS 11.4 beta for the other iOS devices.
Here’s the complete changelog for Electra Jailbreak v1.0.3:
- Add support for 11.4 beta 1 – 11.4 beta 3 (multipath only tested on these firmwares)
Apple has fixed the vulnerability that has been used in the Electra Jailbreak for iOS 11.3.1 – iOS 11.2 in iOS 11.4 that has been released to the public, so you won’t be able to use Electra Jailbreak v1.0.3 to jailbreak it. You will need to downgrade to iOS 11.4 beta 1 – iOS 11.4 beta 3 to use it.
You can download the latest version of Electra Jailbreak which includes support for iOS 11.4 beta 1 – iOS 11.4 beta 3 from coolstar’s website.
