SunFlower, a new jailbreak tweak brings 3D Touch back to all jailbroken iPhones running iOS 13. Apple not only removed 3D Touch from the iPhone 11 Pro series, but it also ended up replacing the feature with Haptic Touch in iOS 13 on older iPhones. The move frustrated many power users of older iPhones who preferred 3D Touch to Haptic Touch.

A new jailbreak tweak by the name of SunFlower from developer @LaughingQuoll completely disables Haptic Touch and brings back 3D Touch on older iPhones. If you have jailbroken your iPhone running iOS 13 – iOS 13.2.2 using checkra1n, this is easily a tweak that you must install.

There are two issues with the jailbreak as of now as being reported by users. Firstly, the reaction time is on the slower side. The developer says that this is due to the animation in iOS 13 itself being slower than iOS 12, though he is looking at ways to speed it up.

The second issue is that despite this feature bringing back 3D Touch, it does not restore the Peek and Pop options that were previously available in iOS 12. It is unclear if the developer will be able to add this functionality to the tweak with a future update or not. Nonetheless, if you have been missing 3D Touch after updating to iOS 13, this tweak might just tempt you into jailbreaking your iPhone to get that functionality back.

SunFlower can be downloaded for free from the Chariz repo.
