Yesterday we came across a few cases and covers of the new 10.5-inch iPad Pro, which revealed the presence of a slim exterior and repositioned microphones. Benjamin Geskin, who is known for Apple leaks, has now revealed a few CAD renderings and mockups of the upcoming iPad Pro. These images corroborate the features we saw on yesterday’s leak, pretty much confirming that Apple is in for a major design overhaul with the 10.5-inch iPad Pro.

Geskin believes that this particular model is already in mass production, indicating that Apple is looking for a mid to late June release of the new iPad Pro. The CAD rendering confirms the existence of four speakers, a Lightning port, and a Smart Connector on the side.

Based on the CAD renderings and other leaks, Geskin managed to design a proper rendering of the new 10.5-inch iPad Pro (shown above), showing the cut-down side bezels, which is believed to be only 7mm thick. The top bezels have been cut down as well, which should make it easier for the users to operate the device.

It is said that Apple is using almost the same chassis here as the recently launched 9.7-inch iPad. The company is expected to launch the 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro in early June during the WWDC 2017 conference. The company is also expected to share details on iOS 11, which will power all existing iPhones, iPads, iPod Touch models as well as the upcoming iPhone 8.
