Did you wish there was a way to determine the progress of a respring on your iPhone? RespringProgress is a new jailbreak tweak that does exactly what you want.
The tweak adds a bar to the respring screen that keeps you informed of its progress. This screen is where the Apple boot logo is displayed when your device is performing a respring after installing a jailbreak tweak or for other purposes.
This is quite useful as you will be aware of the respring progress and can also determine when your device enters boot loop from the installation of a faulty tweak.
As the developer notes, the tweak keeps track of the number of objects that Springboard loads while your device is performing a respring and compares it to the total number that would signify Springboard as done. The progress bar increases gradually as new objects are created.
Once installed, the tweak doesn’t require any additional configuration and starts working right away. Keep in mind that the progress bar is only displayed after you respring your device which usually happens after you install a new tweak from Cydia.
RespringProgress brings a nice visual change to the dull respring screen and is a good way of keeping track of the progress of a respring.
If you’d like to get your hands on this tweak, it is available for $0.99 on Cydia’s BigBoss repo and works only on iOS 9 devices. Sound off in the comments section below with your opinions on the new tweak.
