Samsung is all set to unveil the Galaxy S8 later this month, but the handset has already leaked in plenty of pictures that show off its bezel-less design. What the pictures have failed to show us is just how small the Galaxy S8 (and S8+) are despite coming with a gargantuan 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch display.

Now, a photo comparing the dimensions of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ to all popular smartphones out there gives us an idea of just how compact the phones are despite their huge displays.

The Galaxy S8 will come with a 5.7/5.8-inch QHD+ display, and despite that, it is smaller than the iPhone 7 Plus and all other existing phones in the market that sport a 5.5-inch or larger display. Perhaps, more impressively, the Galaxy S8 is also slightly smaller than the recently unveiled LG G6 that also comes with very slim bezels and a 5.7-inch display.

As for the Galaxy S8+, it is just a wee bit bigger than the iPhone 7 Plus which features a 5.5-inch display. The Galaxy S8+, in comparison, comes with a 6.2-inch QHD+ display — a size difference of 0.7-inches.

The Galaxy S8 very well gives us a glimpse at how Apple’s upcoming premium iPhone Edition will look like with its bezel-less design. The iPhone Edition is rumored to come with a 5.8-inch OLED panel, though some portion of the bottom part of the display will be reserved for the function area. The iPhone Edition is also expected to come with an all-glass design encompassing a stainless steel or ceramic chassis, wireless (and fast) charging, and a revolutionary 3D selfie camera for some kind of facial recognition.
