In the fear of waking up late and missing my morning class, I usually set multiple alarms with a few minutes difference in between to make sure I wake up on time. If you’re like me, you’d probably be interested in a brand new jailbreak tweak called Clone Alarm that makes it a lot easier to set multiple alarms at once.
The tweak allows you to make several copies of an alarm with a specific time difference in between without requiring you to do it manually. All of this can be done from the stock Clock app by simple long holding on an alarm instead of having to do it from a separate preference pane or a standalone app.
After installing the tweak, open the Clock app, tap and hold on an already created alarm and a new interface opens. From there, you can choose how many copies of the original alarm you want to make, choose the time difference between the new alarms that will be created as well as the time unit which can be either in minutes or hours, but I don’t think anyone would ever use the latter option.
After you’re done, all you to do is to tap on the Clone button in the top right corner and you’ll see the new copies of the alarm in the list. As you can see, it just takes a few taps of a button to set multiple alarms in a snap.
The tweak also comes with a dedicated preference pane that comes with a kill switch toggle allowing you to enable or disable it on demand.
If you frequently set several alarms on your iPhone with a few minutes time difference, I’ll definitely recommend that you give this tweak a try if you want to speed up the process. The developer also mentions that he will introduce a new way in the future that allows you to open a dedicated window to clone alarms.
You can purchase Clone Alarm from Cydia’s BigBoss repositoy for $0.99 and it supports both iOS 7 and iOS 8 devices.
