The iPhone X is set to go up for pre-order on Friday, October 27. To get people even more interested in the flagship smartphone, Sprint has a launch promo to entice early adopters.
Wireless carriers will all be announcing their own iPhone X-specific promotions in the coming days, especially ahead of the smartphone’s official launch next Friday, November 3. But first up is Sprint, as noted by The Verge. The Now Network will offer a pretty steep discount on the iPhone X’s already steep price tag if you trade in an eligible device.
Specifically, the carrier will cut $350 off the total price of the iPhone X, which starts at $999. If you trade in an eligible device, you’ll get a monthly payment of $22.22 per month for 18 months towards the iPhone X. However, as is always the case, there are some caveats to the deal. First and foremost, if you decide to keep the iPhone X after that last payment on the 18th month, those monthly payments will then revert to their standard $41.62 per month for the remaining payments.
That means the total price of the 64GB iPhone X is $649.68, which is indeed a noteworthy discount.
Sprint is offering the promotion to both existing subscribers and new customers that switch over. As for the device you’ll need to trade in, that’ll need to be a relatively new Apple iPhone (dating back to the iPhone 6 Plus), and then these specific Android-based devices:
- Samsung Galaxy S8/S8 Plus
- Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 Edge
- Samsung Note 5
- LG G5
- LG G6
- LG V20
- Google Pixel
- Google Pixel XL
- Moto Z Droid
- Moto Z Play
- Moto Z2 Force
- Moto Z Force Droid
- Moto Z2 Play
- BlackBerry KEYone
- HTC U11
Anyone out there going to take advantage of Sprint’s iPhone X launch promo?
