I provided a few photography tips a little while ago as well as picks for regular and fun photo apps, but the folks at Evernote want to help you as well with some holiday photo (and general) tips.

Over the next few weeks, you may find yourself taking more photos than usual. Whether you’re hosting family for the holidays, enjoying lots of holiday meals, or attending cocktail parties, you’ve got a lot of memories to capture this season. Since most of us aren’t professional photographers, we thought it would be fun to ask our Photography Ambassador, Daniel Hedrick, to share his top tips for taking great photos this holiday season.

Evernote is holding a Google+ Hangout next week where you can get more tips on taking better pictures.

The PDF doesn’t delve into smartphone issues, but that’s something I think should come up in the Hangout. If nothing else the tips for helping your flash be less “flashy” will help (page 2 of the PDF).
