Unjailbreak iOS 9.3.3

With Cydia Eraser supporting iOS 9.3.3, users who have jailbroken their devices using Pangu can now use the tool to remove the jailbreak and restore to stock iOS while residing on the same firmware.

With Cydia Eraser, you can restore your device to the same iOS version without going to the latest available firmware. This is particularly useful if you are facing issues with the jailbreak and would like to restore while still keeping the ability to jailbreak.

In this tutorial, we are going to show how you can use Cydia Eraser to remove the iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak from your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

Before proceeding, take note of the following important points:

  • Make sure to take a complete backup of your device via iTunes or iCloud as Cydia Eraser removes all the available data, apps and settings.
  • Do not interrupt Cydia Eraser while it’s working and make sure that your device has enough battery to let the process complete.
  • Cydia Eraser requires a working internet connection.

Step 8: Once completed, you will be taken to the welcome screen where you can setup your iOS device afresh and activate it. You can also restore from your backup during the setup process.

After following the above steps successfully, the Pangu jailbreak will be removed from your iOS 9.3.3 device and you’ll return to the stock firmware without being jailbroken. Your device will remain on the same iOS version as before, but with the jailbreak removed.
