A bunch of jailbreak tweaks have been receiving updates in the past few weeks following the jailbreak tool released for iOS 8 by TaiG and Pangu. Veency, the popular VNC server is a new addition to the list of updated tweaks as it now supports iOS 8 as well as the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, courtesy of saurik.

If you haven’t used Veency before, then you’re missing a great Cydia utility. Veency is a free VNC server which allows you to connect to your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch from Mac or PC and control it remotely, interact with all the apps on your device, text message and much more.

If you’re on a Mac, go to the Finder and press Command+K to connect to your iOS device. Enter in vnc:// and then the IP address of your iOS device and press Connect. If you’re on Windows or Linux, use your VNC client of choice and connect to your iOS device like you would any other VNC server.

To activate Veency after installation, you must set a password from the Settings app. When a computer wants to connect to your device, you’ll receive a notification asking if you want to accept it.

Apart from this, Saurik also updated Cydget to fully support iOS 8. It allows users to customize their Lock screen and have multiple active displays to cycle between them.
