Weatherboard (iOS 8 & 7) is a newly updated tweak that has very nice and smooth animations to use on your springboard background as well as your lock screen background. If this sounds like something that you may want to test out, keep on reading.
Once you install Weatherboard, you’ll need to set it up within Settings>Weatherboard. There are 3 options to choose from: Overlay, Day Conditions, or Night Conditions. The “Overlay” option allows your to continue to use your current wallpaper and put the animations directly over your wallpaper. The day and night conditions will allows you to use the animations on an already supplied “day” wallpaper or “night” wallpaper.
If you’d like to set the tweak to show your current weather conditions, then just tap on “Search Cities” and enter your zip code. It will then show your current conditions outside and will updated every 20 minutes. If you want it to update more often or less often, then just slide the knob left or right in the settings panel.
There are quite a few animations to choose from, 47 to be exact. So this is a tweak you’ll have to try out for yourself to see if it’s worth the $2.49 in Cydia. I definitely think it is.
