Wells Fargo launches a new commercial for Apple Pay

Wells Fargo was named at the announcement of Apple Pay as one of the mobile payments service’s launch partners, and now there’s a brand new commercial advertising Apple’s newest endeavor.

The ad is pretty straightforward insofar that it shows a customer going out to several different stores, using Apple Pay, and showing off how easy it is to use. The ad is also meant to show that using Apple’s mobile payments service is quick, as at the end of the ad there’s an exchange about staying out longer, as the customer returns home and interrupts a surprise party.

“It went super quick,” he responds, before the standard voice over pipes up and offers that using a Wells Fargo card “just got easier.”

In late October, Wells Fargo began running a promotion for Apple Pay and to get its customers to try out the service, offering up $20 for those who added the card to the mobile payments option and tried it out.
