I’ve been showing off my iPhone 6s since it arrived on Friday, and the first thing anyone asks me when they see it is, “what’s different about it?” Without a new design, the latest iPhone looks exactly the same as its predecessor — but is isn’t.

- 1080p slo-mo video at 120 fps or 720p at 240 fps

- 3D Touch display with stronger Ion-X glass
- Taptic Engine
- New Rose Gold color option
- Series 7000 aluminum (the same aluminum used for Apple Watch)
- Always-on “Hey Siri” (iPhone no longer needs to be connected to a charger)
- Faster second-generation Touch ID sensor
iPhone 6s might look a lot like the iPhone 6, then, but there are many things that differentiate it and make it the best iPhone to date. The next time your friends ask you what’s so special about the new model, just point them to this list — and then remind them how incredible 3D Touch is.
