Popular YouTuber MKBHD managed to get his hands on the Jet Black iPhone 7 and black iPhone 7 Plus before their release tomorrow and has posted an unboxing video of them.
The YouTuber reveals some interesting details about the new iPhones and also confirm some lingering doubts. Firstly, while going through the setup process of iOS 10 on the iPone 7 Plus, he was greeted with a new “meet the new Home button” screen where one can select the haptic feedback provided by the new capacitive home button. There are three different levels of feedback, with the first one being really light. The popular YouTuber went with the third highly responsive option.
Inside the retail box, one gets the usual contents that Apple bundles with every iPhone, with the Lightning-to-3.5mm adapter being the only new addition. And the Jet Black iPhone 7 also comes in a new black box, though the contents inside the box remain white in color.
The YouTuber also confirms in the video that the iPhone 7 Plus comes with 3GB RAM and put the device through a Geekbench run. It has already been reported that the A10 Fusion chip inside the new iPhones is faster than any MacBook Air ever made.
In the end, MKBHD recommends buying the matte black iPhone 7 over the Jet Black iPhone 7. The latter finish easily attracts a lot of fingerprints and shows off scratches easily that will make it a nightmare to own down the line.
