Apple today announced a plethora of updates to its operating systems — iOS 15, iPadOS 15, wachOS 8, tvOS 15. Along with these updates, Apple also announced the next version of the macOS operating system — macOS 12 Monterey. Shortly after the keynote concluded, the company released the first beta of macOS 12 Monterey. The first beta of macOS 12 Monterey is now available to download and install on compatible Macs.
Apple unveiled macOS 12 during the WWDC 2021 keynote. After the keynote, the company released macOS 12 Monterey Developer Beta 1 to developers for beta testing.
