iFixit today released official repair guides for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus detailing how to change the battery, display assembly, pentalobe screws, and the Taptic Engine. These detailed walkthrough guides from iFixit will help you in easily replacing a damaged component of your iPhone 7 without having to shell a fortune to get it repaired from Apple.

Now, before you end up trying to replace the display or a faulty Taptic Engine of your iPhone 7 yourself by following the guide, make sure that you have all the proper tools at your disposal. While iFixit has been releasing screen and battery replacement guides for the iPhone almost every year, the addition of a new guide to replace the Taptic Engine and barometric vent is new. This engine is used by the capacitive home button on the iPhone 7 to provide haptic feedback.
