Samsung has released a new ad showcasing the wireless charging feature on the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ and mocking the lack of it on the iPhone.

Samsung blatantly shows in the ad titled ‘It’s Not a Phone, It’s a Galaxy’ that keeping the iPhone 6 Plus on a wireless charger does nothing and calls the phone a “grand dad” in the rap.  The ad was released by Samsung just a day after Apple had unveiled the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. So, it looks like the company is making fun of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus here as well since they also lack wireless charging.

The new iPhones are a step or two behind the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 edge+ in the charging department, as they lack both wireless charging and fast charging. Despite coming with a smaller battery, the iPhone 6s Plus should offer a battery life that is slightly better or on par with Samsung’s Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+, which is what ultimately matters.
