One of the cool new features in iOS 8 is the ability to make and receive iPhone calls on your iPad or Mac.
But, if you’re sharing the iCloud account with other members in your family, as one of my friend was doing, it can be an annoying feature. As it will mean that everyone in your family will get the call on their iOS devices when you get a call and vice-versa if they’re signed in to the same iCloud account and on the same Wi-Fi network.
Don’t panic, there is a very easy way to disable this feature. You can stop iPhone calls across all your iOS devices or Mac by disabling the feature on your iPhone, or disable the feature individually on the device you don’t want to get iPhone calls. You can follow these steps to disable the feature which will stop iPhone calls across all your iOS devices or Mac.

- Launch the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Scroll down and tap on FaceTime.
- Tap on the toggle for iPhone Cellular Calls to disable the feature.
If you want to use the feature, but disable it in one of the devices then you can do it by following these steps.

- Launch the Settings app on your iPad.
- Scroll down and tap on FaceTime.
- Tap on the toggle for iPhone Cellular Calls to disable the feature.
How to stop iPhone calls on a Mac
- Launch the FaceTime app on your Mac.
- Click on the FaceTime menu, and then Preferences.
- Under the Settings tab, uncheck the box for iPhone Cellular Calls.
That’s it. You should stop getting the iPhone calls.
You should also consider using a different iCloud account for FaceTime and iMessage, if the purpose of using the same account to use iCloud storage.
