An image found in the seventh beta of iOS 13 seeded by Apple yesterday points to the iPhone 11 series being unveiled on September 10. A screenshot found in the beta with the title “HoldForRelease” and the calendar icon set to Tuesday, September 10 is the basis for the rumor.

A similar screenshot is also found in the latest iPadOS 13 beta.

The screenshot was first found by iHelpBR. A similar screenshot was also found in iOS 12 beta last year which accurately mentioned the iPhone XS launch event for September 12.

All rumors and calculations based on Apple’s previous year launches do suggest that the iPhone 11 series will be released on September 10th. Apple has traditionally held iPhone events in the second week of September and this date fits right in.

If Apple ends up announcing the new iPhones on September 10th, we should see them go up for pre-order later in the week on September 13. They will then hit the retail stores on September 20. The final release of iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 for the public should also take place a day or two before the iPhone 11 series launches.

Apple is expected to launch three new iPhones this year: the 2019 iPhone XR successor, iPhone 11, and the iPhone 11 Max. All three of them will be unveiled on September 10 and go on sale at the same time. Apple is not expected to unveil its 2019 iPad Pro at the same event. While Apple should also unveil the Apple Watch Series 5 on September 10, there have not many rumors surrounding the wearable so far.
