iPhone 6 goes up for pre-order September 12, on sale September 19

Apple has announced the availability, and pre-order date, for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

As was expected from the moment Apple announced the September 9 announcement date, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will go on sale beginning September 19. Before that, though, beginning September 12, interested consumers can pre-order the handset.

iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 will be go on sale on September 19 in the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the UK.

Apple has confirmed that by the end of 2014 the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be available in 115 countries.
