iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus go on sale in 40 new countries today

Starting from today, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will go on sale in more than 40 countries across the globe. The handset is already available for purchase in Taiwan, and will be making its way to Apple’s retail stores or authorised reseller stores later today.

The list of countries where the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus go on sale today include Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Greenland, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Maldives, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and Taiwan.

In certain markets like Taiwan, Sweden, and Copenhagen, customers have already lined up or started lining up to get their hands on the new iPhones.

iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are also scheduled to go on sale in Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE from October 10; and India, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, South Africa, and Turkey on October 16. It will also make its way to Belarus, Guam, Moldova, Serbia, and Ukraine from October 23.
