The Electra team surprised everyone today by releasing Chimera, a new iOS 12 – iOS 12.1.2 jailbreak for A7-A12 devices including the iPhone XS and iPhone XR. Chimera has been built from the ground up and comes with Sileo as its default package manager.
Compared to Unc0ver, Chimera promises to offer a more stable and less buggy experience. The app itself also has a more modern UI, unlike Unc0ver which feels rough and raw. The biggest highlight of Chimera is that it features CoreTrust bypass and that it is compatible with A12-A12X Bionic devices like the iPhone XS and iPhone XR.
