Gestures 13 is a new jailbreak tweak that brings iPhone X’s navigation gestures to older iPhones and iPads. Its release comes hot on the heels of the checkra1n jailbreak release.
Right now, the tweak only brings the iPhone X gestures to all jailbroken iPhones running iOS 13. It does not offer any kind of customization or the ability to turn selected gestures off. It also lacks the Home bar at the bottom which one can find on the iPhone X and newer iPhones. The developer is working on adding more new and missing features to this tweak.
In its current version, the tweak is a bit buggy as well. Nonetheless, if you have always wanted to try out the new iPhone X/XS/11 gestures on your iPhone with a home button, this tweak will do the job just fine.
While there are quite a few jailbreak tweaks that added similar functionality to older iPhones running iOS 11 – iOS 12, Gesture 13 is among the first that supports iOS 13. All other similar tweaks currently do not work properly in iOS 13.
The Gestures 13 jailbreak tweak can be downloaded from this repo. It has also been submitted to the BigBoss repo and should be available on it in a few hours.
In case you are not following the latest development in the jailbreak world, the first iOS 13 jailbreak tool was released yesterday. Checkra1n is based on the checkm8 exploit and supports jailbreaking iOS 12.3 – iOS 13.2.2 on almost all iPhones and iPads up until the iPhone X.
