If you’re playing around with Siri on your new iPhone 4S, you probably know that you can tell it to search the web. However, by default it searches Google (if it’s still the default search engine).
Danny Sullivan of Search Engine Land has discovered that you can also ask Siri to search on Bing and Yahoo.
So if you say Search for “iPhone hacks”, it will automatically search for iPhone Hacks on Google.
However, if you want to search for iPhone Hacks on Bing, you can simply say “Search Bing for iPhone hacks” and Siri will open up Bing’s mobile website to show you the results.
The same is true for Yahoo. If can say “Search Yahoo for iPhone hacks” and Siri will open up Yahoo’s mobile website to show you the search results.
You can always change the default search engine via Settings -> Safari -> Search Engine and Siri will according use that search engine as the default while searching the web.
