TaiG 2.3.1 Jailbreak tool with Cydia 1.1.20 and TaiG Untether package for iOS 8 – iOS 8.1.2 released

TaiG iOS 8.4 Jailbreak

TaiG team has just released an update for their TaiG jailbreak tool to jailbreak iOS 8.4 – iOS 8.1.3.

TaiG 2.3.1 now comes integrated with Cydia 1.1.20. You may remember that saurik had released it to fix bugs and crash issues.

Here’s the complete change log for TaiG 2.3.1 jailbreak tool:

  • Integrate the latest Cydia 1.1.20.

TaiG team has also released an update for the TaiG 8.0-8.1.x Untether package on Cydia, so that users who had used TaiG jailbreak tool version 1.0.0 to 1.3.0 to jailbreak iOS 8 – iOS 8.1.2, to fix the ‘setreuid’ security flaw without the need to rejailbreak their iOS device.

Users of TaiG V1.0.0-1.3.0, supporting iOS 8.0-iOS 8.1.2, don’t need to rejailbreak. If you want to remove setreuid patch, add TaiG repo (apt.taig.com) or 3K repo (apt.3kzhushou.com), and update TaiG 8.0-8.1.X Untether.

TaiG had included the fix for the ‘setreuid’ security flaw in TaiG 2.3 jailbreak tool for iOS 8.4 – iOS 8.1.3. TaiG had also released an update for the TaiG 8.1.3-8.x Untether package.

There is still no word about the Mac version of the TaiG jailbreak tool.
