How to Watch WWDC 2018 Keynote Live

Apple’s WWDC 2018 kicks off on June 4, Monday, where the company is expected to unveil iOS 12, macOS 10.14, watchOS 5, and more. Just like last year, Apple is holding its yearly developer conference at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose. Apart from some notable executives from Apple and its developer team, some coveted journalists and developers are going to be present for the event.

If you are disappointed that you will miss out on all the fun at WWDC 2018 and the announcement made by Apple during its opening keynote, worry not. This is because Apple will be live streaming the opening keynote along with many of its other developer sessions, just like it has done over the last few years.

How to Watch WWDC 2018 Keynote Live Stream

Apple TV 4

If you have the new Apple TV 4 then download the Apple Events app from the tvOS App Store for free if you haven’t done so already. It is a great app that will allow you to watch the keynote live stream from the comfort of your couch.

Apple TV 3 and Apple TV 2

If you have Apple TV 3 or Apple TV 2 with Apple TV software 5.0.2 or later, then navigate to “Apple Events” channel with the WWDC 18 logo (like the one above) on the main menu to watch the event live on your television.

Mac

If plan to watch it on your Mac, then launch Safari browser and point it to the following URL: https://www.apple.com/apple-events/june-2018/

iPad, iPhone or iPod touch

If you plan to watch it on your iPhone or iPad, then point mobile Safari to the same URL – https://www.apple.com/apple-events/june-2018/

Windows 10

Windows users can also live stream the event on their PC officially. But there’s a limitation. You can only do it if only on the Microsoft Edge browser which comes with Windows 10.

If you’re on Windows 10, then point Microsoft Edge to the following URL – https://www.apple.com/apple-events/june-2018/

Windows/Android

The live stream officially works only on the Mac, iOS devices and more recently Windows 10. However, you can use the following workaround to watch the WWDC 2018 live stream on older Windows or even on an Android device:
